It’s been a long time since Victory Venkatesh scored a hit on his own in theatres. He is the first among the fab four of Tollywood, i.e, Chiranjeevi, Balakrishna, Nagarjuna and Venkatesh.. to become aware of their age and shift to multistarrers. He acted in a few movies like Drishyam 2, and Narappa which were sent to the OTTs. Other movies of him like Seetamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu, Gopala Gopala, Masala, F2, F3 etc have all been multistarrers which do not weigh his box office stamina. Now, in good news for Victory fans, the star has decided to come back to theatres with his solo movies. As of now, he has three directors on the list. Jatiratnalu fame Anudeep, Siva Nirvana and Tharun Bhascker are in the queue to direct Venky.
Sources close to the Daggubati camp say that the F3 star is in a dilemma on selecting picking up a director among three. On a first come first serve basis, Tharun Bhacker deserves the chance as he narrated the storyline to Venky a long back and has been waiting for the star’s green signal. But, the director is busy with acting as well and most importantly, he is not in success as a director for now. There is no doubt about his talent but considering how the film industry works, Venky might put him in the last of the three. Anudeep is on a flow with his debut success and might be an apt director for Venky’s body language which means there is every chance for Anudeep to become the director of Venkatesh’s upcoming film. Next is Siva Niravana. Filmy sources say that Venky has already okayed the script of Siva Nirvana but as the director is busy in making Kushi with Vijay Deverakonda and Samantha, he might be the option for Venky once Anudeep’s film gets completed, say the T-town sources. Whoever might be the director, Victory fans are wishing to see their star back in success as a solo hero.
