Vijay Antony who started his film career as a music composer debuted in 2005. Later on, he became an actor in the year 2012 with a movie titled Naan. He was well known to Telugu moviegoers with his blockbuster film Pichaikaran.

The story revolves around a rich businessman’s mother who becomes comatose after she meets with an accident and the doctors are unable to cure her. However, a priest promises him that she would recover if he lives a beggar’s life.
For the unversed, the actor Vijay Antony is in making the sequel to the film. The shooting of the film is also going on. But unfortunately, he met with an accident on the sets. According to the sources while shooting an action scene on Langkawi Island in Malaysia involving a water boat, which lost control and collided with a larger boat carrying the film crew and equipment. Vijay was quickly given first aid on the set before being transported to a private hospital in Kuala Lumpur for further treatment.
Film producer Dhananjayan on Monday revealed that actor Vijay Antony was injured while shooting for his upcoming film Pichaikkaran 2. However, Antony is now said to be recovering well.
