Vijay Sethupathi will also be a part of Jaawan, a Bollywood film directed by Atlee. Vijay Sethupathi said that he is coming in the role of a villain. The actor also said that he would never waste the opportunity to act with Shahrukh. Vijay Sethupathi added that although he knew Atlee earlier, he was not able to work together, but now he was able to do so. I played the villain in Jawaan.

‘Jawan’ is the first film of Atlee-Shah Rukh collaboration. As the shooting of the film, which was previously announced to hit the theaters on June 2, got delayed, more time was needed to complete the post-production work. The film is releasing in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu languages. It is also special that Nayanthara is acting in Bollywood for the first time. Jawaan also stars Vijay Sethupathi, Priyamani, Sanya Malhotra, Yogi Babu, Sunil Grover and Ridhi Dogra. Deepika Padukone and Sanjay Dutt are seen in cameo roles.
