Vijay Sethupathi is one of the most in-demand actors in South India today. Almost every star is wishing Sethupathi to be a part of his film. The actor has starred in many movies with other stars like Sye Raa, Master, Vikram, etc. Now, he is roped in to act in Bollywood King Khan’s film Jawan in Bollywood. The sources say that VS is portraying a cruel villain role in this film. The shocking update is that he is taking home a whopping Rs 21 Crores for the project. As of now, the Pizza star is at the Rs 15 Crore mark but crossed it and now reached Rs 21 Crores for Jawan. Kollywood circles say that Jawan being a pan-India film, VS thought it is justified to up the paycheck.
Directed by Atlee, Jawan stars Nayanathara as the leading lady while Deepika Padukone will be seen in a guest role. The film is being shot rapidly and is touted to be released in the next year. On the other hand, King Khan is looking to get on the success track with Jawan. As the south films are scoring successes in the Hindi belt, Khan opted for a majority of south technicians and actors because of which Atlee, Nayan, and Vijay Sethupathi have all come into the frame. The star didn’t have a single hit since 2018 and he took a break since then. In between he was seen in guest roles in a few movies like Rocketry: The Nambi Effect, and Lal Singh Chaddha and will be seen in a brief role in Brahmastra Part 1 as well. As for full-length movies, he is shooting a plethora of films alongside Jawan like Pathaan, Tiger 3, and Dunki. His fans are hoping that 2023 will be SRK’s year.
