Vin Diesel and The Rock are back to being brothers again – Fast X: Part II announcements

Back when the filming of F9: The Fast Saga was going on, there was a displeasing clash when co-star Tyrese Gibson directly accused Dwayne Johnson of the delay in filming. Although Diesel publicly defended Johnson from Gibson’s claims, the arrow was already released from the bow. Ever since then, there’s been a silent disagreement between Johnson and Diesel.

The good news is, things change with time. For the unversed, Dwayne Johnson is famously known as The Rock – his ring name – who was a professional wrestler for 8 years in WWE before entering Hollywood as an actor. Vin Diesel on the other hand is also one of the highest-grossing actors like Johnson who is popular for his role in Fast and Furious. He has also appeared in the blockbuster project I Am Groot.

In 2021, Johnson made it clear he has no interest in patching up with the Fast franchise because of his bitter relationship with Vin Diesel. However, Fast X’s post-credit scene had a different announcement to make. Avid fans will have watched the scene and realized that Johnson and Diesel are no longer retaining the dispute. He has officially confirmed that he will be back as Hobbs in the next Fast & Furious franchise – FASTX: Part II which is expected to release in 2025. He recently posted on his Instagram, “Last summer @vindiesel and I put all the past behind us. We’ll lead with brotherhood and resolve – and always take care of the franchise, characters & FANS that we love.”

The Rock says, “Daddy’s gotta go to work ~ HOBBS” and lets the audience take a sigh of relief with this heartwarming announcement.
