Sleepless nights, skipped meals, extended work hours are a part and parcel of the cinema industry, especially for great artists like SS Rajamouli. Just one movie, RRR, was enough to keep him jampacked for 2 whole years before he could find the time to breathe. But SSR knows no boundaries. He’s working on another big-ticket film with Telugu superstar Mahesh Babu, called SSMB29.
Although the movie title is subject to change, the expectations remain intact. Vijayendra Prasad, father of SS Rajamouli – the reason behind the exemplary perfection in his movies – claims that the movie SSMB29 will be bigger than RRR. It’s crazy how when we think a movie is the highest Indian cinema can go, the artists prove us wrong every single time. Kudos to these brains!
Between all that hectic mess, SS Rajamouli needed a much-awaited break. Today, he shared on Twitter that he was touring around Tamil Nadu, visiting temples with his family and gathering blessings for everyone’s well-being and also his upcoming movie.
Wanted to do a road trip in central Tamilnadu for a long time. Thanks to my daughter who wanted to visit temples, we embarked upon it. With his wife, Rama, son, SS Karthikeya, daughter SS Mayookha, and daughter-in-law Pooja Prasad, he spent some quality time in central Tamil Nadu, beating the heat with local hydrating drinks! Usually people account this gesture to being religious, but infringingly, SS Rajamouli is strictly an atheist. To him, temples and other historic places are a matter of research and curiosity. Moreover, he doesn’t mind joining his family to support their religious sentiments, although he refrains from following the same.
