Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra Part 1: Shiva starring Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt in lead roles hit the screens yesterday and is receiving mixed response from the audience. Meanwhile as its climax left many doubts, speculations are high on the second part.
First part focuses on the story of Ranbir Kapoor’s character Shiva, a youngster who has a superpower to control fire and also protects the universe by discovering his hidden powers. The film ends with an official announcement of the second part, titled Brahmastra Part II- Dev. Since then, doubts in many minds are who is Dev and Amrita as these two characters are not revealed in Part one but are said as Mother and Father to Hero’s character Shiva. Also the main plot revolved around the Amrita and Dev characters though their faces are not revealed.
Now, speculations are rife that Hrithik Roshan and Ranveer Singh are in the running to play Dev. Yes, it is also heard that Ayan has already approached Ranveer Singh and Hrithik Roshan to play the role in Brahmastra Part II as Dev. However there is no clarity on who is going to agree to the offer.
Meanwhile, speculations are also rife that Deepika will play Ranbir’s mother, Amrita and this character might shape the entire progress and transformation of Shiva.
But for further clarification, it is obvious that we need to wait till official confirmation.
