Who is being cast opposite Kartik Aaryan in Aashiqui 3?

Aashiqui 3 actress

Kartik Aaryan, after getting finalized as the lead hero for Aashiqui 3 is set to break his previous records. But, there’s still uncertainty about who will be playing beside him as an actress.

There’s a rumour that Akanksha Sharma will be cast beside Kartik for their upcoming romance. Moreover, a source said, “Akanksha has had multiple meetings with the makers of the film and there is a possibility that things might get locked.” The source further added that because Akansha is “fresh new face” and makers of Aashiqui have always looked forward to introducing fresh pairings – like Rahul Roy and Anu Agarwal or Aditya Roy Kapur and Shraddha Kapoor – so she will be just perfect to be a part of Anurag Basu’s Aashiqui 3.

Interestingly, top names like Katrina Kaif and Deepika Padukone were being considered by the makers of the film to star opposite Kartik Aaryan, but apparently they didn’t want any actress who has worked with the Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 actor before. So, as they were in a search for a new and fresh face, Akanksha took the limelight.

Akanksha has worked in the Kannada industry for a long time. In fact, she was also seen in the music video titled Disco 82 alongside Tiger Shroff.

The Aashiqui instalment has had a ride of its own. Aashiqui movie was disliked by majority of the watchers but its songs became an ongoing sensation at the time. Aashiqui 2 became so popular that people still go back and watch it after so many years. Now, casting Kartik Aaryan is definitely a good choice because he’s the newfound chocolate boy of this era and his appearance in romantic movies has been charming lately.

After gaining massive success with Anurag Basu’s Satyaprem Ki Katha, Kartik Aaryan is fueled to work with him once again and work the magic of romance.
