As per the Active Producer’s Guild’s decision to introspect and revive Tollywood, the Telugu film shootings of all the big and small budgeted movies have been halted indefinitely from August 1st.
However there was no clarity on this strike because one of the top producer’s film is continuing it’s shooting in Telugu States.
Getting in to the news, because of the ongoing strike, many Telugu movies got a sudden halt from yesterday, but Dil Raju’s film Varasudu starring Vijay has decided to carry on with the shooting.
While asked about this, Dill Raju mentioned a logic , saying Varasudu/Varisu is a Telugu-Tamil bilingual. He added that as the movie is simultaneously shooting in both the languages it is not just a Telugu movie.
Concluding this statement, it is heard that as the strike is applicable only to Telugu movies, Varasudu’s makers is continuing it’s shooting in Vizag.
On the other hand many are commenting that, the film is directed by Telugu Director Vamshi Paidipally and produced by Telugu producer DillRaju, but they are just marking these points to avoid the strike.
Needless to say, these type of act from Dill Raju would surely motivate a few other Tollywood producers to resume shootings of their pan-India films in the coming days.
