Currently, Akkineni Naga Chaitanya is experiencing a slump in his career. He doesn’t have a single blockbuster since Majili, that is, way back in 2019. Venky Mama, Love Story, Bangarraju, and Thank You were all a lineup of flops. Now, the actor’s all hopes rest on Lal Singh Chaddha. Although primarily an Aamir Khan film. Chay will be seen in a very key role which travels with Aamir. The character’s name is Balaraju Bodi. According to the movie plot, he meets Aamir while they both train in the army and become best friends. The movie team recently releases a special reel of Balaraju and showed the variations of his role. It’s interesting to note that Balaraju is one of the earlier films of Chay’s grandfather Akkineni Nageswara Rao. Chay is very hopeful that the movie will bring him prominence in the Hindi film industry.
If Lal Singh Chaddha becomes a hit and Chay gets the desired applause, one can safely assume that he will be starring in more Hindi films in future. For now, Chay is vigorously promoting the film along with Aamir. Once this releases, Chay will be seen in untitled Venkat Prabhu’s film which is being shot as a bilingual flick. He is in a web series too called Dootha which is helmed by Thank You director Vikram K Kumar. On the other hand, Aamir too is hopeful that his movie will bring the audience back to theatres in Bollywood. The film stars Kareena Kapoor alongside him as the female lead. It’s a remake of Tom Hanks’ Forrest Gump.
