Yaariyan 2 new song
After the teaser crippled a sizzling sensation in the ‘love song’ lovers, the song launched today and it definitely didn’t fail us. Simroon Tera Naam is Yaariyan 2’s second song and has completely different vibe compared to Saure Ghar. With Sachet Tandon’s vocals, the song will become your newfound obsession in no time.
The song wholly revolves around Laadli (Divya Khosla Kumar) and her husband. From the music video, it looks like they don’t have a very compatible start to their marriage per se, but Laadli is trying her best to make it work. Towards the end, the husband is finally seen caring about Laadli and things start to work out.
The lyrics of the song Simroon Tera Naam are adapted from the original Qaqwwali Saanson Ki Mala Pe by Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan.
While Yaariyan was about friendship, Yaariyan 2 is about cousins by blood, friends by choice. Divya Khosla Kumar, Meezaan Jafri, Yash Dasgupta in the lead are to play the cousins.
Releasing on October 20th, 2023, the movie is aimed to create a light ambience in the theatre with its plot.
