Younger Bellamkonda’s Debut Film Gets Postponed

Producer Bellamkonda Suresh’s youngest son and Tollywood hero Bellamkonda Srinivas’ younger brother Ganesh is set to debut as a lead actor with the film Swathi Muthyam.

Touted as a new-age love story, the film is directed by Lakshman K Krishna and features Varsha Bollamma in lead actress role.

The latest buzz is that this film expected to release on August 13 got postponed.

The makers a few days back announced that the film will hit the screens on August 13. That’s not all, they have also released a new poster from the film that features Ganesh and Varsha enjoying a two-wheeler ride. With this all thought, Swathi Muthyam will lock horns with Nithiin-starrer Macherla Niyojakavargam at the box office.

Surprisingly, now the makers Sithara Entertainments released a note stated that they have postponed the movie release date from August 13.

In the note makers have mentioned that though they are unhappy about this postponement, they couldn’t avoid it. Also stating that present Tollywood situations are the reason behind this postponement, makers wrote ” Even though we could have been adamant about our release plans. The post Pandemic TFI situation is not great. Audiences are not coming to theatres as they used to before. And looking at this situation, we did not want to compete with other releases. Even though it is perfect timing for the film to be released”.

Further talking about the release date, they wrote “Looking at the producer situation in the current scenario we have decided to postpone our film and we will announce the release date soon”.

Reportedly, this film is a remake of Shahid Kapoor’s 2006 blockbuster Bollywood film Vivah. Bankrolled by Suryadevara Naga Vamsi under the Sithara Entertainments banner, the film also features Naresh VK, Rao Ramesh, Vennela Kishore, Sapthagiri, Harsha Vardhan and Surekha Vani in important roles
