ZEE Entertainment’s MD & CEO, Punit Goenka officially announced Ratan Naval Tata biographical film a tribute to Indias most loved industrialist Ratan Tata on his social media accounts .

India’s beloved industrialist and philanthropist Ratan Tata died at a Mumbai hospital late on Wednesday October 9, 2024 due to age related issues. Amid his death ZEE Entertainment’s officially announced Ratan Naval Tata biographical film .

Studio’s Chairman R. Gopalan took to his social media accounts and highlighted Ratan Tata’s achievements and societal impacts and also expressed deep respect, noting that Tata’s legacy will inspire millions.

Karan Abhishek Singh, CEO of ZEE Media took to his social media account announced Ratan Naval Tata biographical film and penned an emotional tribute note, he wrote,” recognizing Tata as a leader whose influence reached far and wide. To broaden the film’s global impact, ZEE Studios will partner with WION, leveraging its presence in 190+ countries to honor Tata’s remarkable life.

Ratan Tata served as the chairman of Tata Group and Tata Sons from 1991 to 2012 and he held the position of interim chairman from October 2016 to February 2017. He was awarded the Padma Vibhushan, the second highest civilian honour  the Padma Bhushan, the third highest civilian honour for his philanthropist works and contribution to the Indian society

During Ratan Tata’s tenure , the Tata Group acquired Tetley, Jaguar Land Rover, and Corus, in an attempt to turn Tata from a largely India-centric group into a global business.

It is reported that throughout his life, Tata invested in over 40 start-ups, primarily in a personal capacity, with additional investments through his firm, RNT Capital Advisors and donated early 200 billion for charity and hospatality works. 

Ratan Tata commitment to innovation and sustainability led to significant investments in clean water initiatives and rural electrification projects. He also launched a companionship startup for senior citizens named Goodfellows, with Shantanu Naidu to encourage intergenerational friendships.
