Bade Miyan Chote Miyan OTT Release Date Revealed

The action-packed film “Bade Miyan Chote Miyan,” featuring Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff, hit theaters on April 11, 2024. The plot revolves around a group of soldiers joining forces to retrieve a stolen weapon from a masked and dangerous adversary intent on destroying India. Now, after its theatrical run, the movie is gearing up for an OTT release.

“Bade Miyan Chote Miyan” OTT

Mark your calendars! Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff’s “Bade Miyan Chote Miyan” will premiere on Netflix starting June 6, 2024. Fans can catch this action-packed thriller from the comfort of their homes.

In December 2021, Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff were signed for Ali Abbas Zafar’s next action film under the production of Pooja Entertainment, which also backed the 1998 film of the same name.[8] Eventually, the film was announced on 8 February 2022.[9] Zafar, apart from being the writer and director, also co-produced it under his own banner, AAZ Films.

With their contrasting personalities and maverick methods, Bade Miyan and Chote Miyan need to overcome their differences and labor together to transport the offenders to impartiality and preserve the day.

Critical Reception and Star-Studded Cast

Despite high expectations, the Ali Abbas Zafar directorial failed to resonate with audiences in theaters. Mixed to poor reviews from critics followed its release. Alongside Akshay and Tiger, the film features Prithviraj Sukumaran, Sonakshi Sinha, Manushi Chhillar, Ronit Roy, and Alaya F in pivotal roles.

Budget vs. Box Office Collection

With a whopping budget of 350 crores, “Bade Miyan Chote Miyan” managed to gross just over ₹95.48 crore worldwide. Given the extensive promotions and star-studded cast, this performance falls disappointingly short. The film was shot across various locations in India and abroad, including Mumbai, Abu Dhabi, Jordan, Scotland, and London.

“Bade Miyan Chote Miyan” vs. “Maidaan”

The film faced tough competition during its theatrical release, going head-to-head with Ajay Devgn’s “Maidaan,” which hit screens on April 10, 2024. Despite being an Eid release, neither film achieved the box office magic associated with Salman Khan’s blockbusters. Now, as “Bade Miyan Chote Miyan” heads to Netflix, viewers await its digital fate. Will it captivate audiences online? Only time will tell.
