BTS J-Hope : Amidst singer military discharge on October 17, agency issues official statement

 BTS K-Pop singer J-hope has completed 100% his military service and is preparing for his military discharge on October 17.

Amidst the BTS member J-Hope’s military discharge, the agency has released a statement urging BTS ARMY to refrain from visiting the site.

J-Hope made his debut as a member of South Korean boy band BTS in 2013, under Big Hit Entertainment and Two years ago today, J – Hope made an official announcement regarding his Korean military enlistment. Singer joined in the army training on April 18, 2023 and after basic training he was appointed as an assistant training instructor with the 36th Infantry Division in Wonju.

Despite singer military training, BTS agency Big Hit  managed to released a six-part docuseries titled Hope on the Street in March 2024, accompanied by the special album Hope on the Street Vol. 1. Recorded before J-Hope began his mandatory military service a year prior, both projects explored his artistic roots and street dance background.

Hope’s series first episode aired globally on March 27 on Prime Video and on TVING in South Korea and received great response from army worldwide fans. while the album followed on March 29, with “Neuron” featuring Gaeko and Yoon Mi-rae as its lead single.

BTS K-pop singer J-Hope is set to return from military training on October 17. Following Jin and J-Hope, RM, Suga, Jimin, Taehyung and Jungkook are set to get discharged in June next year.
