Thalapathy Vijay starrer Beast didn’t do too well at the box office, but it’s worth giving a shot in the OTT. Netflix and Sunnxt are airing the movie on their respective platforms from the 11th of this month. Directed by Nelson Dilip Kumar, it has Pooja Hegde starring opposite Vijay. On the 12th of this month, Amazon Prime Video is releasing The Matrix Resurrections. Following up the Superhit Matrix trilogy, the movie might do a lot better in the OTT than what it did at the box office. It has Keanu Reeves and Carrie Anne Moss reprising their roles as Neo and Trinity. Indian actress Priyanka Chopra acted in a special role as Sati.
Coming to the 13th of this month, there are a lot of movies lined up on various platforms. Sensational hit The Kashmir Files will be aired on Zee 5. Directed by Vivek Agnihotri and starring Anupam Kher, Mithun Chakraborty, Pallavi Joshi, and Prakash Belawadi.. the movie garnered critical acclaim and collections alike. Hotstar is releasing Sneakerella, a movie made specifically for the OTT. It’s an American musical comedy with Chosen Jacobs, Lexi Underwood, and John Sally playing key roles. Hoichoi OTT will be streaming Mahabharat Murders from the 13th. It’s based on Arnab Ray’s book of the same name. Actress Priyanka Sarkar plays a key role in this Bengali web series. Soumik Haldar is at the helm of this thriller. Netflix is releasing the Senior Year on the same date too. This comedy genre flick is about a high school cheerleader who falls into a coma in her school and wakes up after two decades. She still wants to achieve the prom queen status and goes back to school. Amazon releasing its original series Moden Love Mumbai on the 13th too. It will show 6 different stories weaved together. With a star cast like Arshad Warsi, Chitrangada Singh, Masaba Gupta, Naseeruddin Shah, and Fatima Sana Shaikh, it’s generating a lot of interest too. Last but not the least, Mubi is airing ‘The Worst Person In The World’ on the 13th. This black comedy-drama film was released last year and received positive reviews all over. Not a bad film to watch if you are feeling bored.
