Prithviraj Sukumaran can be considered a successful OTT star in South India as most of his films that were released on OTT have performed well. Now, interestingly, we have come to know that the actor’s last film Kaduva is gearing up for a grand release soon on Amazon Prime Video. But, the twist in the tale is that the film will only be available in the Malayalam language in which the film was shot. The film was earlier available in other languages in theatres, but the film will now be made available only in Malayalam.
Even during the film’s release, the film Kaduva was controversial. The makers postponed the film’s release for a week and when it was released in theatres finally, the audiences and critics reacted to it with a mixed response.
The buzz is that the film collected over ₹40 crores at the box office and it became one of the highest-grossing Malayalam films of the year.
