Laal Singh Chaddha’s OTT Date Rescheduled

Released amidst decent expectations, Aamir Khan’s highly anticipated film Laal Singh Chaddha bagged disastrous talk right from the first day. The film has Kareen Kapoor in lead actress role and Tollywood actor Naga Chaitanya in a crucial role.

Now, the latest buzz about this film, which failed to impress the audience at the box office, is circulating on social media.

Getting into the news, as far as the film’s OTT release is concerned, earlier, it was reported that the film would release on a streaming platform six months after its theatrical release. But as per a recent report, due to the poor performance of the film in cinemas, the markers have decided to release it sooner on OTT giant Netflix.

Yes, if the grapevine in the industry has to be believed, the film will reportedly be streaming from October 20 on the OTT platform Netflix.

The source also stated that film makers signed a deal with Netflix after a lot of discussion. As per previous reports, Aamir Khan had demanded a nearly Rs 150 crore deal with Netflix for streaming rights, however, after the performance of Laal Singh Chaddha at the box office, it is heard that, Netflix has bagged the film just for Rs.80 crores.

This Advait Chandan directorial is the Hindi adaptation of the Academy Award-winning film Forrest Gump. The film also has a cameo by Shah Rukh Khan and was released in cinemas on August 11.
