Released amidst low expectations, the Telugu horror drama Masooda has done very well at the box office. The film completed the break-even mark in its first weekend, emerging as the 17th clean hit Telugu film of 2022.
Starring Sangeetha Krish and Thiruveer, the film also has Kavya Kalyanram, Subhalekha Sudhakar, and Saurabh Prabhavathi in key roles. The film hit the theatres on Nov 18, 2022, and the film received praise from critics and the audience alike as the movie stuck to the horror genre.
Now the latest buzz is that this movie, directed by Sai Kiran, is ready to make its digital debut.
As per the reports, the Aha platform bagged this film’s digital rights for a whopping amount and the platform is planning to premiere the film on the 16th or 23rd of this month. However, official confirmation is yet to be made.
The film is produced by Rahul Yadav Nakka under Swadharm Entertainment. This production house scored a hat-trick with Masooda after bagging back-to-back successes with Malli Raava and Agent Sai Srinivas Athreya. Interestingly is that the production house was Completed successfully five years ago today.
