Netflix is one of the popular streaming giants across the globe. Many internationally renowned films have been existing on the platform. The new addition to their hit list are RRR and Gangubai. Interestingly, there was a time when an Indian film has bagged the top place in the most watched non-English films globally. It was Gangubai which was on the top for six weeks.
Now, RRR has crossed Gangubai’s record. RRR became the first Indian film to open big and continue to be on the top for 13 weeks.
There are multiple reasons for why RRR is trending top on the list. With the promotions being organized in a grand scale and multiple Hollywood filmmakers too watched the film and shared reviews about it.
Directed by SS Rajamouli, RRR features Jr NTR and Ram Charan in the lead roles. DVV Danayya produced the film under the DVV Entertainments banner.
