Saakini Daakini, the action comedy starring Nivetha Thomas and Regina Cassandra, directed by Sudheer Varma, hit theatres on September 16. The film is the Telugu remake of the Korean hit Midnight Runners, jointly produced by Suresh Babu, Sunitha Tati and Hyunwoo Thomas Kim under Kross Pictures, Suresh Productions and Guru Films.
The film was gearing up for an OTT release. The movie was released in theatres 2 weeks ago, and soon, it opted for an immediate OTT release. The film will be available for streaming on Netflix OTT.
Netflix had already bagged the direct OTT release rights, but due to the last-minute change by the makers, they had to settle with the post-theatrical rights.
