Rana Daggubati and Sai Pallavi’s recent outing Virata Parvam is all set to stream on Netflix from July 1. The period romantic action drama is written and directed by Venu Udugula and is bankrolled by Suresh Productions and SLV Cinemas.
The Sai Pallavi starrer is inspired by true events in the ’90s revolving around a Naxal group in the Telangana region. The plot of the movie revolves around a woman’s chasing of love with a Naxal leader. The film also stars Priyamani, Nandita Das, Zarina Wahab, Nivetha Pethuraj, Eswari Rao and Sai Chand, Rahul Ramakrishna, and Jagadeesh Prathap Bandari.
Suresh Bobbili has scored the music for the film. The film hit the box office on June 17. The film was miserably failed at the box office. The film was also postponed several times due to the pandemic. Sai Pallavi’s character bagged a lot of applause and the makers had stated that the actress might go on to win the National Award for the same.
OTT platform giant Netflix announced that the film will be streamed in Telugu, Tamil, and Malayalam languages. The film will air on 1 st July on the Netflix OTT platform.
