Ayushman Khurrana is back with another interesting concept breaking stereotypes. This actor started his career with the film ‘Vicky Donor’ by delivering a sensible message and normalizing many taboos in society. The leading lady of this film is Ananya Panday.
Story:
The film ‘Dream Girl 2’ is an official sequel to the film ‘Dream Girl’. The film Dream Girl was an experimental film starring Ayushman Khurrana. The film received good appreciation from the critics and audience and made the ‘Dream Girl’ a franchise that led to a sequel. The first part portrays Ayushman (Karamveer/Pooja) as a man with a special talent for talking in the voice of a woman. The sequel is a bit extended to show him in a woman’s attire to earn money. Ayushman is a man who is in love with a rich girl and has to take the challenge that her father gives to have a stable financial life.
Analysis:
The film is definitely an Ayushman Khurrana’s show from start to end. The leading lady Ananya Panday is his girlfriend who is unaware of his talent to talk like a woman. Ayushman succeeded in fitting into the role of a woman by adapting the entire body language of sexy girls to justify his role. Ayushman’s expressions and acting deserve appreciation.
Ananya Panday carried out the innocence of being not aware of the truth and just loving him emotionally throughout the film. The Background score is a good pick for this comic scene. The comedy timing and the screenplay are good. This comic drama is good to watch.
The scenes when he was stuck in his marriage with a wealthy man that he committed for the money so that he can marry his lady love were so hilarious and this film is one of those films that gives confidence to many people out there.
Plus Points:
Ayushman Khurrana’s performance
Comic timing
Minus Points:
Prolonged  scenes
