Vettaiyan Movie Review:

Athiyan IPS is the Superintendent of police of Kanyakumari district and a renowned encounter specialist.With the assistance of Patrick,a thief turned informer,he had solved several cases by eliminating criminals. Following a tip-off from Saranya,a Government School Teacher about drugs being stashed in her school he eliminates the drug mafia in the district. Later when Saranya is raped and murdered when posted in Chennai, Athiyan must solve the case and punish the perpetrator.

Analysis

The second half of Vettaiyan is engaging and intense action, with standout performances from Rajinikanth and Rana. The film features themes of education and NEET and includes notable appearances from Ritika Singh, Fahadh Faasil, and Amitabh Bachchan.
