The release date of Project K, starring actors Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, and Amitabh Bachchan, was announced as January 12, 2024, a few days back. The makers announced the date with a new poster without giving away many details. But now as per the latest update, it is heard that the film is likely to get delayed.
It is a known fact that Bollywood star hero Amitabh Bachchan who is part of Project K recently injured himself on the sets of his upcoming film Project K. Prabhas fans appear to be upset with the makers of the film, the makers shared an important update stating that the shoot for the Project K venture has been paused till the time Amitabh Bachchan is back on his feet and can resume shooting.
In an interview, the film’s director Nag Aswin said, “Bachchan sir will join us in our next schedule.” However, the filmmaker hung up without providing any further updates. The film’s producer Swapna Dutt offered a bit more details, stating, “Sir is getting better. When he’ll be alright, we shall restart.”
With these words, it is clear that shooting would get paused for almost one or two months and the film also would like to be delayed because of this. The film marks Deepika’s debut in the Telugu film industry. The film is being shot in Hindi and Telugu simultaneously and will release in multiple languages across the country.
