Released amidst decent expectations, Nikhil starrer Karthikey 2 opened on a high positive note. The film faced a lot of release date postponements ahead of its release, but making all these hurdles fruitful, the film is gaining positive response right from the premiere show.
Last week, the Tollywood film industry gained back the glory days at the box-office with Sitha Ramam and Bimbisara. However, Nithin starrer Macherla Niyojakavargam released yesterday has been a speed breaker for the hit streak. But bringing back the fortune note, Nikhil’s Karthikeya 2 is getting good response and seems like a sure shot hit.
Interestingly, it is said that Karthikeya 2 is a good enhancement of its first part. While the first part is a small-scale thriller with horror and mystery elements, the second one is said to be an upgraded version in all the departments. More than a horror thriller, the film now turned into an adventure genre. Also, the viewers on Twitter are saying that the last 45 minutes stood as the heart of the film.
Directed by Chandoo Mondeti and Bankrolled by Abhishek Agarwal and TG Vishwa Prasad, the film also has Anupama Parameswaran and Anupam Kher.
