Actor who played Salman’s brother in KKBKKJ: “I used to sleep in vanity vans”

Raghav Juyal is a choreographer and television presenter with a passion for acting. We all remember his appearance in the movie ABCD 2. But, he’s not just that. He’s known to be the one behind the reinvention of the “Slow Motion Walk” in India. His name gained a lot of fame after Dance India Dance 3. In the reality-show Dance Ke Superkids, the team he was captaining was the winner. You’d be taken aback to know that Raghav is a Pahadi boy who was born in Dehradun, Uttarakhand to an advocate father and a Punjabi mother. What’s better? He never got professionally trained. He just picked it up watching TV performances and after various hardships, today, he is a judge in shows, choreographing his way through life.

Raghav’s success did not stop there. In the recent blockbuster by Salman Khan Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan, Raghav starred as his reel-life brother added to his recognition. Raghav is now readily accepting movie offers. He’s already on his way to work on his next project Yuddhra with Guneet Monga. However, all of these cakewalk moments didn’t come to him like a silver spoon.

Raghav mentions that he worked double shifts for movies, even while he had dengue, and slept in vanity vans. Not once did he let anything hinder his performance. It all paid off when Bhaijaan himself called Raghav in for the role – funnily, that was the only movie he didn’t audition for.

” I like when people tell me to point out my flaws, I have been rejected in auditions. If you give 20 auditions, you will get selected in two, that’s the ratio. When I entered acting, I told myself I am no one.”

With that spirit, Raghav teaches aspiring artists to start this journey with a never-give-up and go-getter attitude if they want to be in the game.
