Nani’s upcoming film, Dasara is slated for a pan-India release on March 30, 2023, in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, and Malayalam languages. Billed as a rustic drama, Dasara is set in the Godavarikhani coal mines backdrop. Nani is busy with film promotions and during it, the actor made interesting comments on RRR and Rajamouli.
Nani who has done Eega film with Rajamouli said, “That’s the thing with Rajamouli sir – he makes unreal things possible. Even when you look at certain scenes from Rajmouli sir’s films, someone else would think twice about narrating and writing that scene. He is a visionary. He sees things which no one else does and makes them possible.”
“I know that a lot of people are surprised that a mass Telugu celebration song like Naatu Naatu is up for an Oscar. Because no one would have imagined it. I genuinely feel this is the beginning. There is something very special about being Indian – the kind of cinema we make, the kind of celebration around our films. I think the West is just getting a taste of it. Everything is not about being technically sound. I think the West is realizing that Indian movies are a lot of fun and Naatu Naatu is just the beginning,” he added.
On the other hand, directed by Srikanth Odela, the film has Keerthy Suresh as the female lead. Co-starring Saikumar and Samuthirakani in key roles, the film is produced by Sudhakar Cherukuri.
