During the promotion of Liger, the actor replied to Shah Rukh Khan’s past comment where Srk said Im the last star of Bollywood. The south actor replied “You’re wrong..you are not the last superstar, I am coming to take away the kingship from you. If Shah Rukh can do it, then why can’t I?
When asked about the collections of Liger the actor said “im expecting the start from 200cr.”
Later, after the release of Liger, the movie resulted in a disaster at the box office. Liger grossed only 60 crores Worldwide failing to even collect its budget of 200 crores.
However, later the actor revealed in an interview that Shah Rukh Khan is his inspiration and he saw SRK’s growth while growing and wants to become like him.
SRK fans couldn’t hold their laughs and anger after Liger failure and brutally trolled the South actor for his reply to SRK making his hopes buried in the chest.
The actor is currently gearing up for his upcoming movie ‘Khushi’ release along with Samantha hoping that at least this movie’s box office collection will bring him some Khushi.
